Differences I notice about Evie...

...from my other babies.  I find myself comparing all of my babies to the other ones.  I think Evie takes the cake for the most differences.

1.  She would "stand" in your lap since 1 month, whereas the others would collapse until they were over 6 mos.
2.  Strawberry blond hair as opposed to white blond or dirty blond (could be either dirt or actual color)
3.  Petite build
4.  Can role from back to front AND front to back before a year and she's only 8 months.
5.  Slept through the night earlier than any of the other three as babies.
6.  Whereas I always thought all our babies were cute and beautiful right from the beginning, Max seems to give Evie more compliments on being cute in the infant stage.  Normally to him, all babies are ugly before about 2 years old.  I wonder if that is more due to Evie being our last...
7. Small feet
8.  Evie got her bottom teeth at 3-4 months like the others, but no sign of her top teeth yet.
9.  Very easy to make smile (like the others), but challenging to get a laugh out of her.

Similarities...
1. First teeth in the first 3-4 months
2. Blonde hair, blue eyes
3. Roles of chub
4. Gloria and Evelyn both have dimples
5. Gloria and Evelyn were both almost 2 weeks late...maybe it's a girl thing.
6. All pretty much happy, smiley, and easy-going...God knew that's what I could handle:)

Okay, so there aren't that many apparent differences between the babies at the Bremer home (as our friend, Dr Maxwell, has said of our family, "God used the same mold for each of our babies and never threw it away" ...another way of saying we don't have a lot of gene variety, maybe?). But moms notice the subtle differences...

All pictures around 9 months of age...

I may add to the list of differences and similarities as time goes on...

Benaiah's 3rd Birthday...pics from April 17

Can you tell that Benaiah likes cars and trucks and any piece of farm equipment?
I'm pretty sure cake decorating is not my calling.  I even drew a picture of a tractor beforehand.
Opening a "Cars" headlight from Aunt Kristin (Max's Aunt, as well as "aunt" to the kids).
You can tell by his sad face that he's not excited about it at all...
The briefcase-looking thing is a box with little compartment for his Matchbox, Hotwheels, and other cars...Benaiah has an organizational bone in him, so this is just right for him.  He also has been getting a little die-cast car every time he goes #2 on the potty...I found what works with him!  This was also from Aunt Kristin...thanks Aunt Kristin!

Gramma Shell knows what Benaiah is crazy about...
The tow truck pulls a trash truck...1950s style

Mommy and Daddy got him a battery-operated John-Deere tractor, but we saved it for last since the battery had to charge and by then he was tuckered and all birthdayed-out.  So, that is why we have a sad face in the tractor picture...too much of a good thing...
Ever since his birthday though he has been taking his tractor out everyday and is very serious about riding it and parking it when he's done.
